This reminds me of the linux on eeepc in 2007.
When the first eeepc came out it was a one of a kind laptop - small and cheap, and you could only get it with linux on it. I had high hopes for that thing, thinking that if people will be forced to try linux, they will like it and want it on all their computers. But then m$ put some xp on it and that was the death of the linux version. Given a choice, windows users choose windows.
I once stood in a line and the officer had a problem with her windows. I told the woman next to me "with linux that would never have happend" she said "linux, I tried firefox once but I didn't like it".

That's as far as she would go out of the M$ cocoon.
Most people don't know what is an OS, what is flash player, what is ram. They see two similar phones, one has Windows logo on it, the other is, something else.
Guess what they'll choose.
