btw i tried installing it semi-manually with this

sudo gainroot
preenv
cd /
tar xvf /home/user/MyDocs/settlers.tar
cd /opt/preenv/usr/palm/applications/com.gameloft.app.settlers/Settlers
chmod +rwx Settlers
cd ..
desktopgen appinfo.json

It works.. but i wonder why the .deb installation doesn't work?

If this one works then that means there something wrong with the /usr/bin right?
Also what's the risk installing it this way?
Hi,
I also have a problem with settlers and hawx. My problem is that the games install but when I try to start them all I get is a black screen for a second then the game crashes. How did you do with settlers.tar? Did you get the game from an .ipk file? when I try to run the commands I get no such file or directory. Any ideas?
