N900 was Finlands largest unlocked phone sellers, verkkokauppa.com most sold smartphone for 2 months and you had 2 months waiting if you ordered the phone on release date. Largest carrier, Sonera/Saunalahti also had it as their best selling smartphone for a month.

I don't think you are going to find other country where you could have seen 3 months after N900's release that phone every other day.

Oh no i'm not even saying by a long shot that in a bigger picture it makes any difference. I was simply just talking about Finland and that N9 is most likely going to sell here more at first than WP.
Scandinavia+Finland together is quite big of a market for smartphones where example Samsung has been feeding it's smartphones, but Finland was very alone with the N900. I don't believe that example people over at Sweden, Norway where anymore eager to get N900 than in Germany.
Hell, iphone owns 31% of the smartphone market even in Finland so Nokia isn't getting it all free anymore even in the very core Nokia market.
