Well, one last shot at this. The two main additions to the 810 over the 800 is Keyboard and GPS. The keyboard even though it is a dust and Coffee catcher still remains well thought out preference for owners but it is NOT a big plus.
I go back again to the GPS embedded in a host device depleating the same battery. If you really need the GPS to get you out of trouble, I remind you of Murphys law and batteries. Fail to take this seriously at your peril.
Most of all however - Nokia should have skipped the GPS and incorperated in the 810 a useful set of PDA supplements that would have worked extremely well with the wifi on board the 800 - Calendar, Schedule, everyday needs for business etc.
Lastly for all the 810 monkeys temporarily jumping on the bed in celebration, just think, in a couple of months it's production will sucumb to the 850 and then the 890 and then the 900 and so on and so on and so on. Nokia does not give a hoot about the concerns of owners of superceded gadgets. They are just looking for the next buck to be made. I am done with the subject. I just want the OS2008 so I can flash my 800. I think 2007 can be greatly improved. I have enjoyed much the conversation by all on this forum. You are all smart educated users and Nokia should indeed be paying attention to what is being said here. Thanks for letting me gab and pardon my spelling. //ji
