Selling more doesn't equate to sold most. PS3 has 50 million sales world wide. XBOX 360 has 55 million (didn't know it was that close). Wii has sold 86 million worldwide.
360 have sold 54.4 and ps3 51m, shipment are even abit closer.

ps3 cost 299
360 cost 199 had 1 year headstart, even more in europe, ps3 destroyed the one year headstart. and its millions ahead in europe and japan. especially after gt5 release.

ps3 have been outselling for months 360 worldwide. especially slim ps3 revision.
only recent time 360 have outsold ps3 was 500m marketing and 360 redesign campaign it had with kinect, all that die in january. ps3 stayed on the top ever since.

when the 360 hit 199 Wii was still sold at 250$.

it was until ps3 dropped price that the wii start price cutting.
