1. When i install maemo mapper, does it come with the street maps....ect? If not, where/how do i get them?

2. What is a cheap bluetooth GPS reciever will work with the N800?

3. Does any of this have a monthly/anually cost?

4. Will this have Vioce Guided Directions?
First of all entering your question in the Apps section, or the N800 section and not the N810 section would help....

1. Maemo Mapper downloads the google, open street, virtual earth maps automatically over the internet as needed. If you have a WiFi connection, getting a city sized area (such as Metro Detroit) at a number of resolutions down to street level takes a few minutes. Getting the whole of the USA at an overview level also only takes a few minutes. You'll need a fairly large memory card 2GB+ if you want to keep large areas on the device.

2. I bought a cheap bluetooth GPS off ebay for $30 and it works fine. I've not heard of many (if any) GPS modules that don't work.

3. No additional cost!!!!

4. If you download flite (again free) you can get voice prompts at the relevant points on the trip - You download a track by entering the start and end locations and Maemo Mapper uses google to generate a turn by turn route which is downloaded off the internet - there is also the option to download any maps needed along the trip at various zoom levels.

I've been very impressed with Maemo Mapper, and the developer is very active in sorting out issues and keeping the application up to date.

EDIT - If I'd seen you're second reply I wouldn't have spent the time to help you!
