As the N810 grows in popularity, and new owners come onto this board, it seems that there are an increasing number of new threads with overlapping information; questions that have already been answered numerous times.
Even though many newbie questions have been answered before, there are situations where it can be daunting to search the forums threads, or even search engines. Sometimes, it's difficult to know what you're looking for, and the answer may be embedded deep within a thread/page with a mis-representative title. It's easy for regular users to take this for granted. New users, on the other hand, can be overwhelmed by the tremendous amounts of information, making it far easier to ask help.
We, as regular forum contributers, should take some responsibility to eliminate overlapping posts by posting information to the wiki, and then refer new users to it as an alternative to scolding new users for their various curiosities. Even if the wiki entry was a link to a forum thread holding the actual information, it would provide a highly structured informational resource that could greatly benefit the community and simultaneously keep conversation fresh.
Yay or nay? New ideas welcome.

YARR!
