You're right.. I moved the file (I copied exactly the same code that Robbie posted) to /home directory. However:

# chmod +x /home/charge.sh
# ./charge.sh
: not found line 3:
:not found line 9:
.
.
.
/ 1000 / 20 line 88: syntax error: 0x0000

I checked i2c-tools just in case I forgot to install but it is installed.
