  1. Download the beta of OS2008 for the N800 to your Windows computer.
  2. Install and run the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard on your Windows machine. Allow it to update itself if it feels so inclined.
  3. Follow the instructions the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard (NITSUW?) gives for connecting your N800, pressing buttons, etc. (Note: The wizard may suggest holding the "switch" button. You may need to hold the "home" button instead.)
  4. When the wizard says it's ready to update your N800 to "2007SE_4.2007.38-2 (latest)", don't click "Next". Instead, click the "Change" button.
  5. Browse to and choose the OS2008 beta binary you downloaded.
  6. Finish running the wizard.
