I Broke my wifi trying to use bleeding edge drivers. Trying to make them the default drivers for wifi, i.e. load on boot.
I did this:
---
In the directory of modules /lib/modules/current/ backup the modules:
cfg80211.ko, mac80211.ko and wl12xx.ko
copy all modules of bleeding edge in /lib/modules/current/.
reboot.
---
But didnt do it right, named files wrong, then moved 'wl12xx.ko' to a different folder. fixed all that, confirmed files are in correct folder. but it dont work.. running latest version of kernel 48, is that the problem??
thanks!
