[QUOTE=shrijith1;1054771]Anybody please?
1) Unmet dependencies on upgrading any other package in fapman.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
advanced-interface-switcher: Depends: advanced-power-common (>= 0.4.5-4) but 0.4.5-3 is to be installed
mp-fremantle-generic-pr: Depends: hildon-desktop (= 1:2.2.140-1+0m5) but 1:2.2.142-13 is to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

2) The status applet does not seem to be working for me in portrait mode. Does it work?

1: You have a downgraded version of advanced-power-common that is blocking apt-get updates. You will need to download and install via "dpkg -i" version 0.4.5-3 of advanced-power-common. Don't worry, you can download and install your current 0.4.5-4 version again after you've done your apt-get updates.

2. You have a downgraded version of hildon-desktop that is blocking apt-get updates. You will need to download and install via "dpkg -i" version 1:2.2.142-13 of hildon-desktop. Don't worry, you can download and install your current 1:2.2.140-1+0m5 version again after you've done your apt-get updates.

Both 1 and 2 are common if you run less then the latest version of packages that are in your apt-get repos. I have this problem all of the time when using apt-get since I prefer to use older modest and hildon-desktop packages.

3. No, the status menus does not work in portrait mode. It's too wide to display and can't scale like the power menu button can.
