How about this: some Maemo employers and CTO has "leaved" Nokia for "personal reasons" lets say this is just smoke and with help of Nokia they have started a new company under Nokia. would that be stategic good for Nokia in longer run? that way the new company has no direct connection to Microsoft and they can still continue invesment on R&D "future disruptions". Isnt this often what happens with companys with big troubles? some kind of "split"? so what they actually is doing is moving future disruption to the new company?
