According to the cordiatab website, it has SIM card slot. Sure it may still be too big to act as a phone but its not like as if one would be walking around holding cordiatab or <insert_any_tablets_with_phone_functionality> up to their ears, would they?

Also cordia is a project, not specifically a device

(edit) Getting back to the thread topic, I'm sure there's plenty of us who would want N950, there's even a few threads discussing about N950.

The bottom line is (and I'm sure at least one other person has covered this area as well) is that Nokia N950 is not for sale to the general public even if their respective happy owners do own such a device.

There were a fair few ways one could have possibly obtained N950 but many of the ways of one obtaining the said device needs to prove that the owners can tolerate the device being faulty and will cause issues wherever it likes, etc, etc, etc. As much as I hate to say this (because I don't own a N950 myself even though I'd love to) is that Nokia chose to hand N950 on the basis of trying to avoid being mocked for yet another incomplete product (similar to N900's case as most of us would know anyway). That is what I personally believe ever since I lost my chances of obtaining one.

I am sure that the N950 wasn't scrapped was solely because of that, that it was seen as a potential developer platform for the upcoming N9 rather than to be marked as waste and be used elsewhere. Had the N900 not been so much of Nokia's blunder, the N950 would have been in the hands of public domain and we would not be receiving the crippled version of N950 that it stands now where it doesn't have microSD option, it should come with 64GB option (there were two versions of N950, the initial one had I think 32GB but the current one is only 16GB). It would also have 12MP camera not the now 8MP (as some proud N950 owners rumoured).

That said, if you look at some of the previous N950 leaks including the one from Chinese source, wouldn't you think their device specifications would be better than possibly some of the current N950 owners would have? If so, why don't you go harass them instead?

Needless to say that as of writing on this date, there's one possible final way that one maybe able to obtain N950, and that is to participate in the Meego coding competition. If you are that desperate, I surely hope you would have started coding some softwares that would meet their requirements if you want to win (and be happy with N950 if you could get one for winning the competition).
