OMG. I have to speak. You are like a blind crocodile trisha. You a big mouth to speak but no ears to listen or eyes to read. However I am going to try, at least for the sake of cord's sanity. Firstly, I don't trust your new battery. Unless you bought an official battery (doubtful) the chances are it is NOT the capacity advertised.... Secondly, from those initial powertop graphs I can see you have a ton of junk running all the time. The N900, while a pocket computer is not THAT powerful. Powertop. Powertop will show what is keeping the device from going to 'sleep'. The lines about C1, C2, C3 and C4 are the most important. Of these c4 ia the most important. Ideally, when 'asleep' the CPU should be in C4 over 90% of the time. The time in C4 mode should be above 1500ms. The more stuff you run at once, the harder it is for the CPU to achieve good sleep times. what you are going to do: 1. Install pastebinit 2. Remove all widgets from the desktop. 3. Put phone in offline mode. 4. Turn phone off, remove battery for 20 seconds. 5. Replace battery and switch back on. 6. Tell phone to stay in offline mode. 7. Wait 4 minutes. 8.
