It could be that the settings database has become corrupted. Try deleting the database folder which is at

Code:
/home/user/.config/cutetube/Databases
The database will be recreated when you next launch the application, and you will lose any existing settings.

I have switched to using QSettings for the Meego-Harmattan version, and I'm also using QDocumentGallery (which accesses the tracker) for the archive. I will be backporting as many of my improvements as possible once the Meego-Harmattan version is complete (should be a matter of days now).
