FWIW I've had good experiences with Amazon US for even pricier items.
I'm in Australia, there's no Amazon Australia last I checked.
But they still often ship to Australia...

There'll be other retailers in the UK to chose from though, so shop round.
It's not even 100% certain yet, that there'll be no carrier support.
