I want a stylus that feels defined, like it has an actual (smoothed out) pointed tip.
Sure, ideally so. But for capacitive screens, I've only seen 3 types:

1. Rubber bell's end design.
2. Brush-like tip
3. Clear transparent tip.

1 and 2 always end up with thick tips with funky tactile feel (rubbery, not slippery enough, too squishy, etc).

The absolute best I've tried is actually the hackish stylus where you adhere a (cut) antistatic material on the tip of an actual pencil. I still don't remember the japanese genius who came up with the design.

That one was absolutely spot on, the accuracy and the feel.

After going through more than a dozen capacitive styli designs, that's what I think.
