Actually it can control TV's, you can buy a networked IR replicator device that LinuxMCE can talk to and turn the devices on. So you control LinuxMCE with the N800, and tell it to turn everything on and LinuxMCE will. The N800 makes as a good orbiter for LinuxMCE, i have a few buddies using it as one.

I currently use LinuxMCE at the house, and a was using a Dell Axim X51 for the orbiter (got rid of it, battery life was crap), currently have been looking at an N800 or N810 to control the house for portability.
