I was wondering the same thing! At the beginning of the repair process they told me they could not replace an N900, but that the suggested alternative was an N8... which I would not have accepted.

So when I got the message today saying "they have replaced the handset with a new one" I was thinking ..... ergh it better not be with an N8.

I rang back and they said it is an N900. I guess they still have a few floating around the place.
