The OP installed ITOS2008beta, found it plenty quick, then uninstalled it and went back to ITOS2007, which he thinks is now faster than before.

If the latter is true and not a subjective feeling, then it must mean that some of the changes of ITOS2008beta (like the increase in processor speed, for instance) may have survived the "flashback".

So, if true,

1) this should not happen and

2) what other stuff lurks in the unflashable depths of the Itablets? Is Nokia "pulling a Sony" on its users?
