Google paid +60% over market cap for Motorola. That would make Nokia, even with post Elopcalypse share prices, very expensive purchase. 30 billion or more in Dollars. Very few corporations could afford that price. Most that could do not have any need for Nokia.

  • is fighting mobile tech patent lawsuits currently?
  • has had to settle patent lawsuits with Nokia before?
  • is a direct competitor of Microsoft and will be seeking to keep all MSFT mobile efforts down?
