If you press and hold on landmark it should open a dialog from where you can remove it.

I've been trying to fix that bug but still haven't figured out what's wrong with the code. On Windows and on N950 adding names and descriptions works fine so it might be that the bug is in N900's QML module. If we get Qt Quick 1.1 for N900 it'll probably fix this. Category support will come at some point.
