I don't want to pull this off topic, but just to quickly address:

  • I am firmly in favor of council (and other) transparency. That's why I started the Ask the Council thread long ago. I wish I could be more involved on IRC but my job tends to interfere. I cannot speak for other council members.
  • AFAIK the info you ask for IS publicly and frequently posted here in the Community section. Can you be specific on gaps (but in the Ask the Council thread, please). But do note that at least 3 of us are heavily engaged in this thread (qole, SD69, myself).
  • This has been a long, ongoing sore subject with many of us on the council: we tend to get very little community engagement with what we share. Only a handful of members consistently stay involved, and there is usually sparse involvement from others unless there's a really hot topic (like this one). I would LOVE to see more interest from the community!
