I agree.
But it didn't stay there. However Nokia N900 stayed at T-Mobile to never venture out of there if you wanted 3G data and the Nokia stores in New York and Chicago were planned to be closed.
Palm Pre stayed too long at Sprint while the mistakes of the advertising (too creepy, didn't sell anything) and then the lack of mainstream appeal (many reasons, mostly around sales) - the world passed both by.
Android currently is being sold more at Verizon with AT&T catching up. T-Mobile is still 4th (soon to be probably rolled into AT&T) and Sprint is still 3rd.
