Thanks for looking into it. The battery is official, new with the phone, which is now perhaps one year old. I have reflashed last week [only phone, not card], noloboot is now removed totally. Other software installed now is power kernel, settings, speed patch. All these were installed after the problem started however. New battery left Hong Kong today, hah! I will turn it off tonight, perhaps with the battery removed, see what happens. Thanks.
