I have created a patch to fix the spawn locations. I tried it with the slingshot_0.8.1p-r2 version from the website.

Get the attached patch and apply it in the terminal from within the game folder (where slingshot.py resides, e.g. /opt/slingshot/) with following command:
patch player.py < spawnfix.txt

Anyone know how to start it in fullscreen?
