So then I try to "Install from file" in Application Manager, using the .deb files, and I get an error that some packages required are missing (libmad0, libogg0, libtheora0).

So then I try to install those libraries (using "install from file" in Application Manager, and using the .deb files downloaded from the repository), I get an error "incompatible application error".

I think I am doing something wrong, but what?!?!

Please help a complete noob!
First install the base repository: click http://gronmayer.com/it/dl.php?id=123

And then Extras-devel repository: click http://gronmayer.com/it/dl.php?id=141

Now you can find Mplayer from the application manager (or install directly from the deb http://repository.maemo.org/extras-d...n8x0_armel.deb )
