My battery does drain ridiculously quickly if i use my phone constantly the battery lasts half an hour and dies.

Thank you,.
Welcome to Maemo 5!

LV (low voltage) profile:
sudo kernel-config load lv

ULV (ultra low voltage) profile:
sudo kernel-config load ulv

XLV (XTREMELY LOW VOLTAGE) profile:
sudo kernel-config load xlv

Starving (XXXTREMELY LOW VOLTAGE) profile:
sudo kernel-config load starving

To save your profile in /home/user/.kernel (not needed, but recommended for testing lower voltages)
sudo kernel-config save myprofile1
(replace myprofile1 with a name for your profile)
You can edit the file in .kernel, then load it with
sudo kernel-config load myprofile1

Start with lv, and browse the internet, watch a few videos. If it's stable, go to XLV (most devices can handle XLV fine). If anything crashes while on XLV (for example, DSP voltage goes too low), add 1 to the voltage part of the kernel-config file. And try, and try again.
