I have always thought that GPS screens in landscape mode was stupid. I don't care what's off to the sides, I want to know what's in front of me! The original Garmin Streetpilot could be used in either mode, but I haven't seen any other models since that will.
If not, does any other GPS software do this? I know the N800 doesn't have a rotate function, but it can be done in software like the PDF reader.
You can rotate the screen whatever direction you want, so you could be traveling up the screen or accross the screen.
