ugh I get so sick of hearing about how the N8x0 line isn't getting updates. how long are you gonna carry that torch? everyone here seems so bitter that their beloved 4 year old devices aren't getting updates. Well my E70 and my N95 aren't getting updates either, I'm not whining about it every chance I get. At some point, your device is going to be dropped from manufacturer support. Deal with it.
