One way would be to use Xmodmap.

Then change your hardware key settings temporarily.

For example, something like:
keysym F8 = 0 0
keysym F7 = 1 1
keysym Up = 2 2
keysym Down = 3 3
keysym Left = 4 4
keysym Right = 5 5
keysym Return = 6 6
keysym F4 = 7 7
keysym Escape = 8 8
keysym F5 = 9 9


I don't know the hardware keyboard for the N810 though to help you with the codes.
