I don't consider the N9 to be any part of Nokia's strategy (anymore).

It was to fill the gap between "burning platform omfg" to "wp7 now 4 salez" with possible contracting between Intel on a sidenote.

Then MeeGo/Harmattan was not ready yet and now we'll see WP7 handsets shortly after the N9 (not a fact but I bet that IS part of Nokia's strategy).
