i'm glad the n9 is maemo with meego hair extensions. there's no way meego would have been ready for the mobile phone market. they should have focused on 1 area with it, but left the branchs ready for the other area's, splitting resources down all the avenue's was stupid. i can't see a fully meego handset in the next 2 years thats able to compete with current market devices. it took maemo years to get the the n900 level and be honest, i isn't the best phone, but it still rocks as an everything device. the n9 i consider the proper phone of maemo. so i'd add the same time it took from pre n900 to n9 as how long it would take meego to get a decent handset.

and meego sounds like in idiot chewing a toffee and trying to talk. doesn't have the same appeal as "iphone" or "android" or "symbian" names important and they made it look like a kids show and sound like one. praise be to jebus for harmattan. and i would hope they stuck with it.
