1) A splash screen is unlikely to be implemented. It will slow the startup which is already slow. 2) Why do you want to see the index page when you launch it ? It will show the last page you were reading. The index can be accessed with just a tap on the page number at the bottom left. 3) I thought about doing it but there's already an Arabic keyboard layout for the vkb. I'll add that one to the TODO list anyway
