as usual, i'll disagree with ndi
when i received my e7, i said to myself: "well at least, i'll a have rock solid and battery friendly system"
but i was so wrong.
an out of the box n900 consume a little bit more than a e7.
BUT, n900 could be
hardcore
tweaked with tons of programs like autodisconnect, kernel power with low voltage, under/over clocking, and "eco wifi" mode. with symbian there isn't such thing. not even a program wich can act like a shortcut for wifi/3g/blutooth enable/disable like an android phone. only a ecomode wich is a joke.
as a result, if you
try
to do a lot of things with your e7 like a n900 is capable (only
try
, because symbian is not an always connected system. ndi had explain that), well, you will eat
MUCH MORE
battery life compared to an n900.
also, you have to remember that n900 has 1320mah compared to e7 with his 1200mah....
YES, battery life
IS
such a crap on e7.
really, some day, i'll have to take time to write a full review like ndi (even if i totally disagree with him, i must admit that he wrote a great review) just to explain not only that the e7 is not good (hardware) but also that symbian 3 is a total failure in everything
