What operating system are you running on your desktop/notebook computer?

If you're using Windows:
  1. Download the latest beta of OS2008 from tablets-dev.nokia.com.
  2. Download, install and run the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard on your Windows machine. Allow it to update itself if it feels so inclined.
  3. Follow the instructions the Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard (NITSUW?) gives for connecting your N800, pressing buttons, etc. (Note: The wizard may suggest holding the "switch" button. You may need to hold the "home" button instead.)
  4. When the wizard says it's ready to update your N800 to "2007SE_4.2007.38-2 (latest)", don't click "Next". Instead, click the "Change" button.
  5. Browse to and choose the OS2008 beta binary you downloaded.
  6. Finish running the wizard.
