actually , if you go to maemo.org and look under os2007 software , search for "moredimmingoptions" , a guy wrote a script that you install that does all that code for you so you dont even have to go into exterm , just install moredimmingoptions and you are good to go. however , that still doesnt affect the autobrightness. i too would like a way to have the brightness set where I , i repeat, IIIIIII want it. would also like to be able to set that the key backlighting stays on whenever the keyboard is out. hate when im typing in the dark , stop for a minute then have to fumble around to get the backlight to turn back on.
