It better, since Windows Phone 8 is planned for late 2012 release.
But let us first enjoy the N9, and see if MS actually manages to get Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 releases by the end of 2012.
A lot of rumors about Windows Phone 8, like that it will converge with Windows 8 and use NT kernel, finally ditching Windows CE.
IF that is true (something I actually highly doubt), that is a huge change that could cause significant delays.
