Personally I don't notice a difference. I should mention that I have a 770 but I think the N800 and 770 screens are the same. (The N810 has a transflective screen, I don't know if the underlying screen is the same with some nifty coating.) The only 'weird' thing about the screen is a 'stagelighting' effect. There are 5 (I think) bright LEDs on the right side of the screen and you might notice some mildly darker areas in between them on the right. By the time the light reaches the left side of the screen it's more diffuse and you get solid lighting.

If you can, try to actually hold one. I've had mine for two years (less a day!) and the screen still blows my mind it's so crisp and bright.
