no idea if this will be even a good or even possible idea
but i was wondering upon getting to the desktop after starting up or rebooting how much battery is wasted loading widgets and such?
would if be more battery efficent if items where loaded slowly over time instead of 100% cpu trying to load everything?
so for example the user would have the option to leave the phone booting slowly and not using 100%cpu, like when i boot my n900 in the morning and go and get dressed. so if the user is not using the n900 it wll detect this and lower the cpu % used
or if the user tapps the screen several times the n900 will detect this and use 100% cpu to load everything so the user can start using the phone quicker
no idea if this would save battery life, or would be even worth investigating just an idea
