Interesting, so they've bumped to 8mp w/o increasing the overall size of the sensor?
Hence smaller pixels*, hence they need to compensate for that with a larger aperture.
I wonder why they didn't increase the sensor size "&" the aperture, space contraints?

*is that even possible?
