4S 'world phone' is only valuable for one way roaming, i.e. people with cdma providers travelling out of their country. Pentaband works in two ways for people going to and from the US (and maybe Canada) and the GSM world. I don't believe you would roam on Verizon or Sprint (CDMA) if you went to the US with your EU iPhone 4S, it's a feature for North Americans only, and maybe the Japanese.
