Dear sir,

Meet me at the cargo van behind the dumpster in the alley way in downtown. You will be able to buy a genuine knock-off of the N9!

Sincerely,
Elop

Be carefull of the culture over there and make sure they dont try to rip you off, when asian families help you they expect a lot in return so be carefull ok .
Also, having lived in California, and worked with Philipinos (as well as other Asians) the portrayal you give is not the one I experienced. To be candid, I felt far more welcomed and comfortable with that culture than I was with most others and they never "ripped me off"... it was usually "what's fair is fair" and I LIKED that. Frankly, they were far more generous than that, even. Heh.. I got SO much Philipino treats to go with my tea from a coworker whose wife loved to cook them.

I'm not Asian but I kind of felt a pang of offense to read that just the same too. The advice is good--you should be careful not to get ripped off, but I don't know why you wouldn't get just as likely ripped off by an American, Portuguese, Brazilian, Mexican, Nigerian, Russian, Australian or anybody else. Come on.
