Anything above $800 USD (I can deal with shipping charges) for the device itself is too steep for my blood. I really want this device, but to pay such an absurd premium is too much to ask for an early adopter. Right now I think a lot of retailers are captializing on the weird distribution of the device and driving up the price to customers who can't get it normally. I'm wondering if any will reach US distribution channels (Ingram Micro, Tech Data etc)

That being said, Apple is offering the 64gb 4gs unlocked for $849. I will never get an iDevice, but to pay close that much for a N9 feels like a deal breaker to me. Hopefully us in the states can get our hands on a Thai or South Asian N9 as that seems to be the most reasonably priced one.
