I'm trying to do some development in scratchbox, and the keyboard is completely unusable. There seems to be some kind of crazy keyboard mapping at work: pressing "3" gives me "t", "d" gives "1", "e" gives "backspace" and so on. Anyone seen this before and know how to get things working sanely?
My development box is Ubuntu 10.10. I start Xephyr with "Xephyr :2 -host-cursor -screen 800x480x16 -dpi 96 -ac", or alternately with "-keybd ephyr,,,xkbmodel=evdev" as an extra argument. Xephyr version is 2:1.9.0-0ubuntu7.3. To further complicate things, my desktop is a Mac, so I'm sshing into the Ubuntu box. It's slooow, but apart from the keyboard it seems to work.
