Thanks for the hint... I did flash my other N800 to this firmware and did not restore backup. The wake up from sleep is instant.

Also the screen brightness has 5 steps, when on my other N800 which I did restore backup has 10... (The 5 brightest one do not have any effect.)

Also the bug #2513 (Application menu open/close inconsistently) doesn't seem to exist with a fresh flash.

The backup I had restored was built from scratch on earlier Chinook version. So, it looks like restoring backup is almost always a bad idea?
