Trying to install a custom kernel and booting Harmattan causes a SCARY prompt with big letters that tells you you are voiding your device warranty's permanently. Not much better than Android here.

Hum... I'm puzzled by this since MeeGo CE is kinda supported by Nokia, and using it flashes an open kernel.. Why not with Harmattan?
Does the hardware actually registers it (ie what happens when we flash the stock image back)?

ps: the kernel IS flashable, the bootloader IS open. The question is about custom kernel + booting Harmattan (ie what is usable, what about the warranty)
