Just ordered my black 64GB version tonight. Probably going to be waiting for it the whole weekend too! Damn!

I'd like to tell you guys a story.

I bought the N900 back when it came out because I was really happy with the quality of Nokia's phones - and because everytime I'd tried something else, I always ended up coming back to Nokia.

I had no idea about what I went into at the time I bought N900 - I'm not a developer - knew nothing about Linux, never thought I was going to "root" anything - didn't even know what that meant. I just wanted the best Nokia had - and I got it.

Slowly I learned more and more, and was having fun - I was even playing my old PC-games on the phone. How amazing is that, playing "Day of the Tentacle" on your phone!!

BTW someone (Mike, I think?) asked in another thread how I would sell the N9 to an iPhone user... Well I did with the N900 and i can tell you for sure: ANYONE WHO WANT TO IMPRESS SOMEONE WITH YOUR PHONE - SHOW YOUR FRIENDS IT CAN PLAY DOT!! They will shut up!!! (Now I'm just hoping some clever Dev will port the ScummVM to N9, please, please, please!!!)

Then - One year ago, my N900 was stolen I couldn't believe it - I was lost. Never felt more naked - I would rather have gone out on the streets naked.

And I couldn't very well go and buy a new one - they were already talking about the replacement. So I went back to my good old N95, and decided to wait. And wait. And wait. And I've actually been doing OK since that. But I haven't looked at it one single time without missing my N900.

I know that I'm going to have difficulties syncronizing my N9, because my company is controlling the access to our MfE server with MDM-software. I'm probably going to sync it with Bluetooth - but I'll live with that.

The reason I'll live with that is because of this community, that is so commited to make this phone a worthy replacement of the N9. I'm looking forward to see my favourite apps again.

Thanks to the community. Thanks to Nokia - I feel sorry for you guys whenever I watch bad news about you. Sure there are a lot of talent among you. Not so sure that applies to the very top of the organisation, though.

See you on the other side!
