If anyone at Akamai or Rackspace is lurking among us and won't get in trouble for a mirror, we could (and Nokia) could certainly use it.
I'm sure Bluehost, Rackspace, Savvis and the slew of hosting providers are "appreciating" private individuals hosting the Nokia image files.
If anyone else has bandwidth caps on their servers, you might want to keep an eye.
At 134MB/download, several hundred hits will drive you up fast.
Akamai offered to mirror four servers, two databases, and about 320GB of dynamic material for us on a server cluster that gets over 30,000 hits/day. Having seen the dollar values on mirroring, hosting, and bandwidth, it certainly got my attention (we didn't go with Akamai).
Even in the age of MySpace, Facebook, and "vanity webservers", hosting and bandwidth can add up fast.
