My 1st N900 is still like new,I love it so much that it never actually fell in an uggly way like Marxian describes about his N8.
Had it not worn an otterbox for most of it's life, & if I wanted to be anal retentive about it.
I could point to numerous spots on my N900, where it would've easily gotten scratches.

I probable won't be able to bring up the same respect for this cheap Lumia clone anonymously running Maemo.
The only funny thing is that the new Windows phone sports the same "screen forward design" Grab my Amoled silicon boobs.
But hey the 800 is the hastily produced sample give away batch. The best is yet to come in 2012.
You're trying hard to 'get a rise' out of people nowadays, aren't you.
That's all you're gunning for....
Every single one of your posts, in various other threads too.

We on the contrary will be stuck with this hardware till when?
This time really till it dies?
Hold your heart when it drops, see Elop grinning from the overcast sky, Time to upgrade to Windows phone.
What are you talking about??
Everyone knows there probably won't be another Maemo/MeeGo device from Nokia.
There's a remote chance w/Meltemi that it'll continue on mid smartphones, down to bottom-end featurephones.
But that's still very much "up in the air"... And even if it does come true...
The specs for the highest end Metelmi, may be just too anemic to be appealing.
Unless the overall OS/UI has improved in "leaps & bounds" by that time.

No there probably won't be any more devices like the N9 ever again, so all we can do is enjoy it while it lasts.
I'll also be enjoying a Nexus or SIII, & then my 1st WP, or maybe an iP6 instead.
If the Tizen phones have started to shape-up sufficiently, I'll give them a squiz before my 1st WP or iP6.
